Tax Operations Analyst

About the role

eToro is seeking a Tax Operations Analyst to support its growing tax compliance function. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate tax reporting and withholding across a range of financial products, including crypto‑related events.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual tax reporting processes: data gathering, validation, file preparation, uploads and distribution of tax forms.
• Assist with FATCA, CRS, QI reporting obligations and prepare forms such as 1099, 1042‑S, 1042, 945, 1120‑F.
• Manage the customer Tax Report queue, coordinating with external vendors and internal technical teams.
• Execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual tax withholding calculations, reconciliations, adjustments and corrections.
• Handle customer tax‑related inquiries and escalations in partnership with senior team members.
• Review tax implications of fintech and crypto products (staking, forks, transfers, sales).
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain clear SOPs.
• Coordinate across product, operations, DevOps and customer‑facing teams.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in financial services, accounting, compliance, operations or audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical ability, high attention to detail and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
