Senior Product Analyst – Matching

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst specialized in matching to measure, understand, and improve the algorithms that connect riders and drivers in our bid‑based marketplace. You will own the analytical view of supply, demand, and marketplace efficiency under uncertainty and turn insights into actionable product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the metrics framework for matching quality, marketplace balance, and efficiency.
• Design, run, and analyze A/B experiments to evaluate the impact of matching and ranking changes on efficiency and user experience.
• Apply causal inference techniques to isolate the effect of matching decisions on supply, demand, and user response.
• Analyze and model user behavior and response dynamics in a bid‑based environment.
• Translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for algorithm design.
• Monitor marketplace health, surfacing risks and opportunities early.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to shape algorithmic improvements and validate their production impact.
• Build dashboards and analytical tooling to make matching performance observable across teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product analytics, marketplace analytics, data science, or algorithmic product optimization.
• Strong background in probability theory, mathematical statistics, experimentation (A/B testing), and causal inference.
• Solid understanding of marketplace dynamics such as supply/demand balance and matching/dispatch systems.
• Ability to move from ambiguous problems to measurable hypotheses and decision‑ready recommendations.
