Senior Director, Implementations

About the role

Nexcess is seeking a Senior Director of Implementations to lead the end‑to‑end post‑sale journey for its cloud solutions. This transformational leader will own the full implementation lifecycle, from signed deal through successful go‑live, across all three business units.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete post‑sale implementation and migration process for customers.
• Consolidate fragmented implementation and migration teams into a single, scalable organization.
• Define and enforce a unified implementation methodology, operating standards, and quality expectations.
• Assess current team structure and redesign roles, responsibilities, staffing levels, and reporting lines.
• Develop and execute hiring, leveling, and career development strategies for the implementation organization.
• Establish reliable performance measurement, reporting, and KPI tracking (time‑to‑value, migration success rate, implementation duration, first‑90‑day churn).
• Create baseline metrics within the first 90 days and implement an ongoing operating cadence.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level leadership experience in building and scaling implementation or professional services organizations.
• Strong operational and transformational management skills.
• Ability to design organizational structures, define processes, and drive measurable outcomes.
• Experience establishing KPI frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
