Senior Business Analyst

About the role

FIS is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead complex credit‑card migration programmes and own end‑to‑end requirements and solution design. You will act as a bridge between business and technology, guiding teams, removing obstacles and ensuring solutions are clearly defined and successfully implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the business requirements elicitation and management process for major migration, greenfield launch and system upgrade projects.
• Own the requirements phase, directing a matrix‑managed team of business consultants and ensuring strong governance and stakeholder relationships.
• Define client needs, advise on best‑practice solutions and support clients throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, validation and solution implementation.
• Provide system and product consultancy, educate clients on features, manage expectations and recommend optimal usage.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related business field.
• 8+ years of experience in business requirements analysis, documentation and validation for software projects, preferably in the card payments industry.
• Experience leading and managing Business Analysts in a matrix environment and working in a client advisory/consultancy role.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to travel to client sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with productivity tools: MS Word, Google Docs, MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS PowerPoint, Google Slides, MS Visio, Lucidcharts.
