Senior Automation QA Engineer

About the role

TradingView is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join its Datafeeds team in Limassol. You will own the quality of high‑throughput data pipelines and backend services that deliver financial market data to millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks in Python for backend services and data pipelines.
• Execute functional, integration and performance testing of APIs, services and data feeds.
• Plan and coordinate production releases, ensuring zero‑downtime and high quality.
• Identify bottlenecks in the SDLC and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze logs, metrics and data anomalies to perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and data engineers to clarify requirements and document issues.
• Research complex data discrepancies and contribute to data‑quality initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of QA experience with a focus on backend testing and left‑shift methodologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTest or similar frameworks.
• Proven ability to design automated test suites for large‑scale systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL and data validation techniques.
