Rooms Division Professor

About the role

City Unity College’s Hospitality Department is seeking a Rooms Division Professor to lead teaching and curriculum development in front‑office operations, housekeeping management and guest services. The role combines classroom instruction with research and industry partnership activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and seminars in Rooms Division topics.
• Design, update and modernise course materials in line with current industry practices.
• Mentor and assess students, providing guidance on academic and professional development.
• Participate in departmental research projects and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitality businesses to enhance student learning opportunities.

Required profile

• PhD candidate or holder in Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in the hospitality industry, academia, or both.
• Deep knowledge of Rooms Division operations, including front office and housekeeping.
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities.
