Purchase Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Purchase Operations Manager to lead centralized demand planning and the S&OP process for the Accessories & Peripherals business unit across EMEA. The role ensures product availability while controlling stock ageing, excess and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Own the demand forecast for the entire BU, consolidating inputs from BDMs, regional sales teams and historical data.
• Run the monthly S&OP cycle, aligning demand, supply, inventory and commercial plans with stakeholders and vendors.
• Manage centralized ordering and replenishment, raising and tracking purchase orders, monitoring lead times and delivery schedules.
• Optimize inventory and working capital by setting and monitoring stock‑cover, safety‑stock and reorder parameters per SKU and country.
• Provide vendor‑facing reporting on sell‑in/sell‑out, stock, forecast and rebates, supporting regular business reviews.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, drive corrective actions and flag supply risks such as stock‑outs or late deliveries.
• Coordinate goods‑in‑transit, allocations and inter‑country stock transfers to balance availability across EMEA.
• Maintain planning master data (lead times, MOQs, safety stock, calendars) and ensure data integrity across systems.

Required profile

• Experience in demand planning, S&OP or procurement within IT, consumer electronics or accessories distribution.
• Strong forecasting, inventory management and purchasing knowledge, comfortable with lead times, MOQs and safety stock.
• Advanced analytical ability to turn sell‑in/sell‑out and inventory data into ordering decisions.
• Proven cross‑functional coordination with commercial, sales, logistics and finance teams.
• Fluent English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
