Publishing Team Lead

About the role

TrafficStars is seeking a Publishing Team Lead to head one of its publishing branches. The role combines publisher management, team leadership, and business development within a fast‑paced AdTech environment. You will own the performance of the publishing team, build long‑term publisher partnerships, and drive growth for the department.

Key responsibilities

• Define goals, optimise processes and set performance standards for the publishing branch.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to convey market needs, feedback and commercial opportunities.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and implement new ideas, process improvements and product initiatives.
• Design scalable account growth strategies, upsell opportunities and partnership initiatives.
• Monitor team KPIs, pipeline performance, onboarding success and customer expansion metrics.
• Onboard new clients, guide them through the full sales cycle and proactively acquire new prospects.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients and a portfolio of publishers, optimising ad placements and maximising revenues.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events worldwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, client success or business development within the online advertising industry.
• Demonstrated team leadership or department management experience.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Comfortable working cross‑functionally with product and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and project ownership skills.
• Analytical, proactive and execution‑focused attitude.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
