Payroll Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Payroll Accountant to join our Global Compliance Management Services Department in Nicosia. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop core accounting and payroll competencies while supporting a fast‑moving, high‑performance team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus Company Law.
• Support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
• Manage daily financial documentation such as invoices and receipts.
• Perform regular bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of accounting experience or recent graduate.
• University degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (LCCI Certificate advantageous).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Greek and English.
• Strong attention to detail, team‑oriented and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Familiarity with accounting software (E‑soft, Caseware) – training provided.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
