Part‑Time English EAL Teacher (IB MYP)

About the role

The Island Private School of Limassol seeks a passionate English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher to join its growing international community. This part‑time position focuses on delivering a dynamic English curriculum that supports linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation for students across all proficiency levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess high‑quality EAL lessons, providing small‑group or one‑on‑one support as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and coordinators to ensure curriculum alignment and promote Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).
• Design formative and summative assessments aligned with MYP, Waldorf or Cambridge objectives and provide constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive, technology‑enhanced classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Participate in school committees, professional development sessions and organise extracurricular language‑focused activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching EAL in a mainstream school setting.
• Proven ability to differentiate instruction for varied language levels and strong classroom‑management skills.
• Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
