Operations Specialist (CFD Brokerage)

About the role

IC Markets, a global leader in trading with over 15 years of experience, is looking for an experienced Operations Specialist for its CFD brokerage group. The role is full-time and on-site in Limassol, in a fast-paced environment focused on technical and operational solutions. The schedule is a 5-day shift on a rotational basis, with morning (08:00–16:00) and afternoon (16:00–00:00) shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, product specification and configuration of trading platforms such as MT4, MT5, cTrader, DxDealer and OneZero (or equivalent bridge systems).
• Keep the flow of trades smooth across systems, troubleshooting execution issues and latency differences between platforms, liquidity providers and internal systems.
• Support risk management with position monitoring, exposure reconciliation and real-time and margin metrics.
• Work with prime brokers, prime of primes and market makers to maintain pricing, liquidity quality and connection stability.
• Reconcile swaps, dividends, financing fees and other overnight adjustments.
• Lead or support operational improvement projects using tools such as Jira, and drive automation and root-cause analysis.
• Provide operational support for FIX API connectivity and integration issues.
• Build reporting dashboards and procedures with Excel and other analytics tools, and coordinate with technology, risk, compliance and client services teams.
• Stay aware of regulatory reporting requirements for operations.

Required profile

• At least 3-4 years of experience in CFD operations or a similar role in a brokerage or financial services firm.
• In-depth knowledge of derivative products, market microstructure and order execution models.
• Fluent English (C1+) with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of MT4/MT5, cTrader, OneZero, FIX API and liquidity bridge systems.
• High proficiency with Excel; VBA or Python is a plus.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• An advantage: programming or scripting for data analysis, liquidity provider evaluation and onboarding, and post-trade reconciliation.
