Operations Engineer

About the role

The Operations Engineer will join iSAM Securities' global Operations Engineering team, responsible for the stability, performance and reliability of the firm’s proprietary trading infrastructure. You will work on the trading engine, MT4/MT5 server environment and post‑trade analytics platforms, supporting both internal teams and external institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain trading technology solutions for liquidity management and order execution.
• Manage and automate MT4/MT5 server infrastructure, including symbols, groups and gateway configurations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability.
• Oversee technical client onboarding and ensure rapid, accurate setup.
• Implement fail‑over processes and active backup solutions to maintain resilience.
• Support change‑management activities such as software updates and infrastructure modifications.
• Use automation tools to minimise manual recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of bridge and trading‑engine technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience managing MT4/MT5 server infrastructure.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and post‑trade data processing.
• Solid experience with Windows Server administration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Proven ability to handle client onboarding and infrastructure setup.
