Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Accounting & Data Analytics

About the role

European University Cyprus is seeking qualified academics for the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance. The positions offer a reduced teaching load from the first year, proportionate to recent Scopus‑indexed publications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching in Accounting, Data Analytics and related subjects.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable, Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Participate in departmental and university service as defined by the University Charter.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Data Analytics or a closely related field.
• For the STP track, a professional qualification such as ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Demonstrated teaching competence (Lecturer) or at least three years of continuous academic and research experience (Assistant Professor).

Required skills

• ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA professional qualification (for STP position).
