Lead Economy Designer - RPG

About the role

Homa, a global mobile game developer and publisher, is hiring a Lead Economy Designer for its RPG portfolio. You will own the economy across several live titles, deciding how players earn, spend and engage, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable RPG economy systems that become a reusable strategic asset across titles
• Assess the economic impact of every feature before launch, produce risk-adjusted roadmaps and define pricing, sink/source balancing and offer targeting strategies
• Build economy simulations and data models, owning quantitative work from data analysis to live balancing
• Translate complex economy frameworks into clear guidance for studio and publishing teams

Required profile

• Years of experience designing the core economy of a free-to-play RPG end-to-end
• Strong data analysis skills and hands-on execution mindset
• Structured thinking, clear documentation and strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to collaborate with distributed studio teams remotely

Required skills

• SQL (a must)
• Bonus: Python or R for economic modelling, basic Unity, experience on high-grossing IAP RPGs, and an AI-native workflow
