Kindergarten Teacher

About the role

ICan Kids is seeking a passionate Kindergarten Teacher to work with children aged 4‑5 years in Limassol. You will deliver English language learning through play, exploration and inquiry‑based methods, following the EYFS curriculum and Reggio Emilia approach.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a secure learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with colleagues, parents and the wider community to promote integration and keep families informed of progress.
• Set clear expectations for behaviour and manage discipline according to kindergarten policy.
• Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons using a variety of teaching methods such as group work, independent research, demonstrations, experiments and play.
• Prepare the classroom, organise equipment and maintain up‑to‑date records of assessment, attendance, planning and reports.
• Complete administrative tasks including writing reports, marking work and updating records.
• Support new staff members with curriculum, schedules and procedures.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and kindergarten events.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pre‑Primary or Nursery Education.
• KYSATS accreditation/approval for non‑Cyprus diplomas.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and ability to plan and assess learning outcomes.
• Excellent classroom management and teamwork skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and use a wide range of assessment tools.
• Creative, patient and able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents.
