Junior React Front-end Developer

About the role

EY is looking for a Junior React Front‑end Developer to join its Technology Transformation Consulting practice within the CESA cluster. The role supports the delivery of market‑leading services to clients in Cyprus and internationally, working in a hybrid model (3 days onsite).

Key responsibilities

• Develop user‑facing features using React.js under guidance from senior developers.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON/XML data.
• Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimisation activities.
• Follow established ways of working such as Git, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Write reusable components and contribute to UI improvements.
• Maintain documentation for components, features, and updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and handling web data formats.
• Basic understanding of Git and version‑control workflows.
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Must be based in Cyprus and work on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite).
