Junior QA Engineer

About the role

Playtech’s Sports team is looking for a proactive Junior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of its gaming products. You will work closely with developers, product managers and senior QA engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test activities across multiple projects and features.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyse requirements, create detailed test plans and test cases, and identify potential risks early.
• Investigate system behaviour, analyse logs and document defects clearly.
• Support software release activities and maintain high product‑quality standards.
• Take ownership of smaller testing initiatives while developing QA expertise.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with black‑box, white‑box, integration testing and defect tracking concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine willingness to learn and grow in a QA career.
