Java Software Engineer (Junior‑Mid) – Real‑time Platform

About the role

We are seeking Java Software Engineers at a junior‑to‑mid level to join our Scrum teams in Limassol. You will work on a real‑time platform that automatically intercepts, analyses and visualises radio signals, contributing to cutting‑edge communications intelligence solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop components of a real‑time signal‑processing platform.
• Implement distributed, scalable Java architectures.
• Analyse functional and non‑functional requirements and draft complex modules.
• Deliver maintainable, reusable, high‑quality software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other PLATH Group members.
• Identify simple solutions for complex problems.
• Share knowledge through code reviews and mentor teammates.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Passionate about coding and software development.
• Team player comfortable in an agile environment.
• Eager to learn and continuously improve.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Solid knowledge of Java or another OOP language such as .NET or C++.

• Java programming.
• Spring framework.
• JUnit and Mockito.
• Maven, Git and Jenkins.
• Parallel processing and concurrency.
• SOLID principles, Clean Code and Test‑Driven Development.
• Python (knowledge desirable).
