DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation & Kubernetes

About the role

Join the PRIME DevOps team at FIS and help shape the cloud infrastructure that powers our financial services applications. You will work on automation, Kubernetes, Kafka and related technologies to keep both development and client production environments highly available and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Automate new requests and improve existing workflows.
• Support and maintain the AWS cloud stack (EKS, MSK, S3, EC2).
• Enhance the automation framework and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in new cloud launches and ensure smooth onboarding for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with internal application teams and external clients to resolve infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Git (Bitbucket or GitHub).
• Shell scripting skills (Bash and/or PowerShell).

Required skills

• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of Kafka and TLS setup.
• Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripting.
• AWS CLI and AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect) or Kubernetes certifications (CKAD, CKA).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
