HR Generalist – Remote, International Workforce

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team, managing the full employee lifecycle for a distributed, international workforce. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, combining operational execution with an HR‑BP mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end employee lifecycle from pre‑onboarding to off‑boarding, including exit conversations and process closure.
• Coordinate payroll, compliance and employee records across multiple jurisdictions (Italy, Spain, Germany, etc.) and keep data accurate in HiBob, Teamtailor and Asana.
• Identify manual HR processes and propose AI‑driven automations to improve speed, accuracy and employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws, draft and review employment contracts with legal consultants, and flag risks early.
• Run engagement initiatives such as surveys, stay interviews and pulse checks, translating results into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain salary grids, support promotion cycles and dismissal processes, and contribute to employer‑branding activities.
• Assist with organising off‑sites, internal events and other broader HR projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience with generalist operations and people‑partnering responsibilities.
• International experience working across several geographies and labour frameworks.
• Hands‑on use of AI tools in daily work and ability to spot automation opportunities.
• Previous experience in a tech product company, preferably a scale‑up.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Italian is a strong plus.
