Head of Global Content & Distribution

About the role

The Head of Global Content & Distribution will lead inDrive's worldwide film initiative, overseeing both the nomadic Alternativa Film Festival and the newly launched Impact Scouting, Creation & Distribution program. This senior position is responsible for shaping strategy, building systems, and delivering transformational films to a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the end‑to‑end lifecycle of large‑scale impact film projects, from strategic planning to hands‑on delivery.
• Build the Scouting, Creation & Distribution direction from scratch, defining operating models, pipelines, and partnership frameworks.
• Develop and implement a scalable distribution strategy that reaches diverse, global audiences.
• Provide strategic and curatorial guidance for the Alternativa Film Festival, enhancing its global brand and evolving its nomadic format.
• Forge and manage strategic partnerships with platforms, distributors, sales agents, festivals and foundations.
• Represent the initiative as the primary voice in the film industry and design behavioral‑change programs using film and digital media.
• Ensure cross‑functional alignment and collaboration to achieve measurable, sustainable impact.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of senior leadership experience in the global film industry (distribution, sales, major festivals, or streaming platforms).
• Proven track record of international distribution and scaling films or series beyond niche circuits.
• Extensive network of senior industry contacts, including sales agents, buyers, festival programmers and streamers.
• Experience managing senior leaders and building operational systems.
