Head of Cards – Lead Fintech Card Product Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Head of Cards to own and drive the end‑to‑end strategy for our card portfolio. You will shape virtual, physical, debit and prepaid card offerings that are competitive, commercially attractive and aligned with our growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, launch and continuously improve a full suite of card products (virtual, physical, debit, prepaid).
• Collaborate with Sales to create a product that is easy to position, differentiate and sell across target markets.
• Lead the product lifecycle from market research and business case development through launch, optimisation and scaling.
• Work closely with Engineering, Compliance, Operations and external partners (Visa, Mastercard, processors, BIN sponsors) to deliver new features and capabilities.
• Analyse customer feedback, market trends and product performance to identify growth opportunities and maximise adoption, usage and revenue.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cards product management, head of cards, or a similar role within a fintech, EMI, PSP or bank.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling successful card products from both product and commercial perspectives.
• Deep understanding of card issuing, card schemes (Visa/Mastercard), BIN sponsorship, processing, card economics and customer journeys.
• Experience in startup or scale‑up environments with high ownership and fast decision‑making.
• Fluent in English; Russian language skills are a plus.
