About the role

The organization, a leading health provider in Cyprus, seeks a senior executive to lead its Nursing Services. The role combines strategic vision with operational oversight to ensure safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic direction of the Nursing Service.
• Organise, coordinate and supervise daily nursing operations.
• Guarantee quality, safety and continuous improvement of nursing care.
• Develop policies, procedures and standards in line with legislation and international benchmarks.
• Collaborate with senior management, medical directors and head nurses for effective organisational performance.
• Lead staffing, performance evaluation, professional development and workforce planning.
• Oversee shift scheduling and optimal use of human resources.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in quality, patient safety and infection control committees.
• Promote a culture of continuous education, innovation and professional growth.
• Manage resources, equipment and medical supplies to support efficient operations.

Required profile

• University degree in Nursing, registered with the relevant Nursing Council and a valid practising licence.
• At least 15 years of nursing experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Advanced degree in Health Services Management, Nursing or related field is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and communication abilities.
• Proven decision‑making, change‑management and team‑development skills.
• Fluent Greek and good English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of information‑technology applications.
