Copywriter

About the role

Tickmill, a multi-regulated broker offering CFDs on Forex, stocks, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies and bonds, as well as futures and options, is hiring a full-time Copywriter in Limassol. The Copywriter writes copy for global and regional campaigns across websites, landing pages, email, social media, banners, PR materials, brochures and blogs, and works closely with designers, video editors and the wider creative team.

Key responsibilities

• Write compelling copy for campaigns across websites, landing pages, email, social media, banners, PR materials, brochures and blog articles.
• Brainstorm campaign concepts and promotional ideas with designers, video editors and the creative team.
• Develop brand-consistent messaging aligned with Tickmill's tone of voice.
• Help build the company's content playbook, messaging frameworks and communication guidelines.
• Support major brand campaigns, product launches and performance marketing initiatives.
• Explain complex financial and trading concepts simply and engagingly.
• Keep up with market trends, competitor communications, regulatory developments and compliance requirements in the FX, CFDs and online trading industry.
• Work with Marketing, Product, Compliance and Commercial teams, and use AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer or similar in FX, trading, fintech or financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English with a high level of professional fluency.
• Understanding of trading platforms, investment products, financial markets and industry terminology.
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts and adapt messaging for diverse global audiences.

Required skills

• Attention to detail, creativity and organization, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced international environment.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have: additional language, affiliate/acquisition/retention and performance marketing content, experience in a creative team, knowledge of AI content tools, a portfolio of campaign and short-form copy, and experience in online trading or brokerage.
