Business Development Manager

About the role

emoni is seeking an experienced, commercially‑driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across its international fintech portfolio. You will focus on new‑business generation for financial services, payments, fintech, iGaming, digital assets, e‑commerce and other cross‑border payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within approved industries.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, directors, C‑level executives, introducers and strategic partners.
• Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting and qualification to commercial discussions, onboarding coordination and account activation.
• Analyse prospective clients’ business models, jurisdictions, payment needs, currencies, transaction volumes and expected payment flows.
• Present emoni’s services accurately and prepare commercial proposals within approved pricing parameters.
• Collaborate with Onboarding, Compliance and Management teams to assess client suitability and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Provide prospects with clear information on services, onboarding requirements, timelines and product availability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date lead data, communications and pipeline status in Monday.com.
• Report pipeline updates and market feedback to the Head of Business Development and Compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within fintech, payments, digital assets or related sectors.
• Strong ability to engage with senior decision‑makers and strategic partners.
• Excellent understanding of cross‑border payment processes, SWIFT, SEPA and virtual IBAN solutions.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and onboarding requirements.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently as well as within a multinational team.
