About the role
Mayflower is a technology company building large‑scale entertainment products. The Business Developer will drive new business growth by identifying, engaging and converting merchants for our payment orchestration solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients in relevant online business verticals and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand merchants’ payment setups, challenges, volumes and requirements.
- Present Mayflower’s payment orchestration solutions and explain their commercial value.
- Manage the full B2B sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
- Develop long‑term relationships with decision‑makers, founders, payment managers and senior executives.
- Collaborate with partnerships, technical, onboarding and account‑management teams.
- Maintain accurate pipeline information in the CRM and attend relevant industry conferences.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in fintech, payments, acquiring, payment processing or related sectors.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Ukrainian is a plus.
- Based in Cyprus or willing to relocate there.
- Proven experience managing a full B2B sales cycle and closing complex deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Commercially driven, proactive, organised and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams.
Required skills
- Understanding of online payments, payment service providers, acquiring, card processing, payment conversion, fraud, chargebacks and payment orchestration.
