Assistant Store Manager - JD Sports Limassol

About the role

Cosmos Sport is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for the JD Sports store in My Mall, Limassol. JD Group is a global omnichannel retailer of sports, fashion and outdoor brands, and the JD Sports store is described as a youth-driven, inclusive workplace. The role covers customer service, team leadership, store operations and visual merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience, handle inquiries and complaints, and run clienteling initiatives and events with other departments to secure client loyalty
• Train, mentor and coach the team, support regular training meetings and ensure staff complete the in-house online Academy
• Recruit talent through networking and scouting, and keep the team informed on products, policies and procedures
• Manage day-to-day store operations, monitor productivity against KPIs, analyse reports for sales decisions and plan staff schedules
• Partner with Marketing, VM and Commercial to build customer retention
• Update displays, mannequins and windows according to visual merchandising guidelines so new and advertised products are visible

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification
• 2-3 years' experience managing a standalone retail store or department store floor
• Excellent Greek and English, with good verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Numerical and analytical knowledge to monitor KPIs, and sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Leadership skills, business orientation and customer service orientation, with a passion for sports and fashion

• Compensation of €1,500-€1,600 gross, plus a performance bonus of up to €410 per month
