Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our restaurant portfolio across Cyprus. You will work closely with store managers, the Payments Team, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts and weekly financial reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including ledger reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, supplier liaison, and VAT return submissions.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and lease accounting under IFRS 16.
• Review inventory reports, investigate variances, and reconcile food‑delivery platform transactions.
• Assist with cash, petty‑cash, and banking reconciliations.
• Coordinate with the Payroll Team for accurate journal postings.
• Support internal and external audits and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or retail.
• ACC​A, ACA or CPA qualification (completed or in progress) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
• Fluent in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SoftOne ERP.
• Experience with Novasero POS.
