Account Executive – Enterprise Sales

About the role

Primer is looking for a motivated Account Executive to drive revenue for its enterprise‑level payment platform. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, working with founders, CEOs and other senior leaders across a range of verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the entire sales cycle for enterprise accounts, from prospecting through discovery to close.
• Build a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, networking and strategic partnerships.
• Develop tailored sales strategies and present the value of Primer’s platform to C‑level decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience and relay prospect feedback.
• Contribute to sales process improvement, playbook development and stay informed on payment industry trends.
• Accurately forecast performance and maintain detailed records in the CRM.

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proactive, process‑oriented mindset with a passion for closing strategic deals.
• Strong consultative selling ability and curiosity about customer challenges.
