Tax Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Expert to ensure our business remains compliant with local, state and federal tax regulations. The role involves preparing and filing various tax returns and supporting the finance team in tax-related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file annual and monthly tax returns, including FBT, GST/VAT, withholding tax and service tax for the region.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax payments and compliance with relevant tax laws.
• Review invoices and financial statements for direct and indirect tax compliance.
• Complete and review income tax provisions for each legal entity for statutory audit and internal reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and tax authorities as required.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in corporate taxes, preferably with regional tax knowledge (corporate tax, GST, FBT).
• Certified CA or CPA (advantage).
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and systems (advantage).
