Service Desk System Administrator

About the role

As a Service Desk System Administrator you will join the Service Desk team at Wargaming HQ in Cyprus, providing first‑line IT support to staff in Nicosia. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues to keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve service desk tickets via phone, ticketing system, or in‑person.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems for end users.
• Escalate complex issues to higher‑level support teams while tracking progress.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and gaming consoles.
• Document incidents, resolutions and processes in the ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate inventory of corporate IT equipment.
• Create and update manuals, guides and user documentation.
• Provide basic training and guidance on software applications and IT policies.
• Ensure compliance with company IT security policies.
• Oversee procurement of IT assets, obtain quotes, place orders and track deliveries.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a service desk or technical support role.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Productivity software: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams.
• Directory services: Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Intune.
• IT ticketing systems.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Microsoft SCCM and PowerShell (preferred).
• Cloud platforms: Azure, Entra ID (preferred).
• Access management and video surveillance systems (preferred).
• CCNA or CompTIA certifications (preferred).
