Senior Testing Analyst - Automated Testing

About the role

FIS is looking for a Senior Testing Analyst to join its International Automation Testing team in Nicosia. The team configures, maintains and enhances automated test solutions that protect the quality, stability and reliability of PRIME applications used by clients across many testing regions. The role applies knowledge of testing procedures, application standards, payment card industry requirements and security compliance to support high-quality testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, analyse and maintain automated test cases using FIS testing tools and automation frameworks across client projects.
• Prepare, execute and maintain test plans, scenarios and test cases covering technical and business requirements, and produce test result reports for each cycle.
• Analyse test outcomes, investigate defects and work with development teams to find root causes and resolutions.
• Produce accurate test execution reports and give daily status updates to Test Managers and stakeholders on progress, quality metrics, risks and issues.
• Expand automated test suite coverage by automating test cases with in-house tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in the bank card industry.
• Demonstrated experience in software testing methodologies, processes and best practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Programming or scripting in C#, Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI.
• Test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, ALM/Quality Center.
• Working knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries.
• Added bonus: ISEB, ISTQB or equivalent certification, and experience developing integration, functional and regression test processes.
