Senior AI Engineer - Data Platforms

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus, working in a hybrid mode. You will act as the bridge between data‑science experimentation and enterprise‑grade production systems, turning AI models into scalable, reliable solutions that fit seamlessly into business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end AI workflows that combine models, enterprise data, tools and business logic.
• Develop and maintain prompt‑engineering strategies, including testing and optimisation.
• Build orchestration layers for multi‑step reasoning, decision making and action execution.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems, APIs and user interfaces.
• Apply guardrails to ensure explainable, safe and compliant AI behaviour.
• Create and maintain production‑grade AI deployment pipelines with strong reliability and scalability.
• Implement observability for usage, performance and drift monitoring.
• Manage versioning, rollback, release processes and cost‑efficiency.
• Collaborate with data scientists, actuaries and business stakeholders to validate model outputs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI or related fields.
• Proven track record designing and deploying AI workflows in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with MLOps, CI/CD for machine learning and orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability practices for AI/ML systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
