Real Estate Lawyer – In‑house (Limassol)

About the role

bbf, a fast‑growing property company operating in Cyprus and Greece, is seeking an experienced real‑estate lawyer to join its in‑house legal team. The role is transaction‑driven, acting as the legal counterpart to a designated sales associate and handling end‑to‑end drafting, negotiation and execution of sale agreements for residential and mixed‑use projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and finalise sale, reservation, option, addenda, assignment agreements, deeds of variation and powers of attorney for units across the Group’s projects.
• Prepare agreements from approved templates, accurately incorporating unit, plot, permit, area schedule and payment data.
• Draft bespoke clauses for non‑standard deals and escalate material deviations to the Chief Legal Officer.
• Manage the signing process, including remote and POA‑based execution, and coordinate with buyers’ external counsel.
• Oversee land‑office procedures, banking issues related to payments and the KYC process.
• Support the legal department on corporate, construction, leasing, facility‑management and regulatory matters.
• Act as the dedicated legal point of contact for a specific sales associate and their transaction portfolio.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) and admission to the Cyprus Bar Association.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience drafting sale agreements for immovable property.
• Strong background in title work, contract deposits, transfers, encumbrances and Cyprus land‑registry procedures.
• Working knowledge of Cyprus property regulations, VAT on immovable property and acquisition consents for non‑EU purchasers.
• Fluency in Greek and English with professional drafting and negotiation ability in both languages.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of concurrent transactions to tight deadlines.
