R&D Project Manager – EU‑Funded Projects

About the role

The R&D Project Manager will ensure the successful implementation of EU‑funded research projects, aligning activities with approved objectives, milestones and contractual obligations. The role combines project coordination, technical contribution and stakeholder engagement across international consortia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee EU‑funded R&D projects, delivering objectives on time and within budget.
• Represent eBOS in consortia meetings, workshops, conferences and training events locally and abroad.
• Lead work‑package or task activities, covering technical, scientific, dissemination, communication, exploitation and risk management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Prepare high‑quality technical and non‑technical deliverables, periodic reports and presentations for partners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in ICT, Engineering or related science; Master’s degree preferred; PhD considered an advantage.
• Minimum two years of experience managing EU‑funded R&D projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Digital Europe Programme, European Defence Fund).
• Strong knowledge of EU project implementation requirements, including deliverables, milestones, reporting and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Greek knowledge is a plus.
