Music Kindergarten Educator – Part‑time

About the role

The Music Kindergarten Educator will join Iro Twinkles in Limassol to deliver playful, age‑appropriate music experiences for young children. Working part‑time on‑site, you will create a safe, inclusive environment where music supports creativity, social interaction and early cognitive development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and lead daily music‑based activities such as singing, rhythm games, movement and simple instrument play.
• Set up and maintain a safe classroom, organise lesson materials and ensure equipment is ready for each session.
• Observe children’s progress, adapt activities to individual needs and record brief activity reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s experiences and development.
• Participate in team meetings, collaborate on centre events and performances, and handle administrative tasks like attendance tracking.

Required profile

• Experience working with young children in an educational, childcare or music‑focused setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and age‑appropriate learning activities.
• Basic musical abilities (singing in tune, keeping rhythm, playing simple instruments) and enthusiasm for music education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage children and collaborate with families and colleagues.
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive and safe classroom for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Organisational skills for lesson planning, material preparation and daily routine management.
• Relevant education or training in early childhood education, music or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken English; knowledge of Greek or other local languages is an advantage.
