Junior Accountant

About the role

TechBiz Global is recruiting on behalf of a top client for a Junior Accountant. This role offers the chance to work with a portfolio of local and international clients in an innovative, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting books and records using a modern accounting system for a portfolio of clients.
• Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and ledger balances through automated procedures.
• Prepare VAT returns and related tax submissions.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Communicate with clients and government authorities when required.
• Gain hands‑on experience with cloud‑based accounting systems.
• Work with AI‑powered and automated bookkeeping solutions.
• Learn how technology, automation, and artificial intelligence are transforming the accounting profession.
• Develop valuable digital accounting skills demanded in today’s job market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• LCCI Higher or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar role is an advantage.
