HR Operations Lead

About the role

The HR Operations Lead will own all HR operational activities for the Cyprus office of a global financial services group, while collaborating with HR teams and external providers in Dubai, Poland, the UK and other locations. This hands‑on role focuses on building efficient, consistent and well‑governed HR processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of HR operations for the Cyprus office, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Define and maintain clear processes, responsibilities and escalation points for HR operations.
• Coordinate with HR contacts, providers and stakeholders in multiple countries to guarantee consistent execution.
• Identify operational risks, resource needs and data‑quality issues, escalating to the Group Head of HR as required.
• Produce regular performance reports on HR operations across the Group.
• Manage employee documentation (contracts, paperwork for permanent staff, contractors, etc.) and keep audit‑ready records.
• Support HR audits, background checks, compliance reviews and data‑security assessments.
• Administer employee benefits across entities, work with local providers, monitor costs and support annual benefits reviews.
• Maintain HRIS data quality, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date employee information.

Required profile

• Proactive, organised and comfortable taking full ownership of HR operational functions.
• Strong interest in leveraging technology, automation and AI to improve HR processes and employee experience.
• Ability to identify process gaps, design better workflows and drive end‑to‑end implementation.
