Global Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Global Tax Specialist to support the execution of our tax agenda across the EMEA and APAC regions. Based in Cyprus, you will work closely with International Tax Leads to deliver regional projects, ensure compliance and enable new market and product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Support International Tax Leads on EMEA/APAC projects, assessing corporate tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and permanent establishment implications.
• Coordinate with external advisors and local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and reconciled tax accounts.
• Research local tax legislation, double tax treaties and monitor legislative changes such as DAC7 and Pillar Two.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements and local filing obligations.
• Provide audit and controversy support by preparing documentation and drafting responses.
• Support current and deferred tax computations, uncertain tax position assessments and provision inputs for group reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to standardise and automate tax data collection and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or related field; professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ADIT, CPA) is a plus.
• 5+ years of tax experience in a multinational or Big 4 environment with strong EMEA/APAC focus, including Cyprus tax knowledge.
• Professional fluency in English; Russian, Greek or additional regional language is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and Google Sheets proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Workday.
• Familiarity with tax compliance management platforms (e.g., Loctax).
