Engineering Manager / Technical Lead (Building Blocks)

About the role

Scorewarrior is building the first self‑service internal product, Localization Hub, as part of its new Building Blocks platform. You will lead the engineering effort, shape the technical direction, and help the team deliver a scalable, AI‑enhanced localization solution for the company’s games.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow a high‑performing engineering team.
• Lead the technical evolution of Localization Hub while ensuring continuous product development.
• Contribute hands‑on to architecture, design, code reviews, and key implementations, especially in the early stages.
• Drive migration of the existing platform to a scalable engineering architecture.
• Establish engineering standards, development processes, and delivery practices that can scale.
• Partner closely with Product to translate business priorities into engineering execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and growing engineering teams.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high‑performing engineers.
• Experience designing and evolving production software architectures.
• Background delivering internal platforms, developer tooling, or complex backend systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, and engineering quality.
• Experience partnering closely with product managers and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• TypeScript, Go, or other modern backend technologies.
• Service‑oriented architecture and API design.
• Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI‑powered products or AI‑assisted engineering workflows.
