DevOps Engineer, Azure CI/CD and AKS

About the role

Two permanent DevOps Engineer positions are available in Nicosia, Cyprus, supporting a major banking transformation programme within LTM’s Digital Innovation Hub at the CYENS Centre of Excellence. The focus is on application‑side pipeline and Kubernetes deployment, not on underlying infrastructure provisioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for build and release automation.
• Manage application deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including deployment strategies and release optimisation.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Datadog, creating metrics, dashboards and alerts.
• Drive cost and performance optimisation across pipelines, AKS resource usage and application runtime.
• Develop automation and tooling in Shell and Python to support the DevOps workflow.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps pipeline design and management.
• Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and general Azure cloud services.
• Demonstrated optimisation projects (e.g., pipeline speed, AKS scaling, cost reduction, monitoring improvements).
• Practical knowledge of Datadog for metrics, dashboards and alerting.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Cyprus.
