Cybersecurity Engineer – Technology Resilience

About the role

Odyssey is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to support the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of security services across its infrastructure and managed customer environments. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure security solutions are reliable, well‑maintained, and aligned with operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain core IT infrastructure, including network and security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to security tools, network connectivity, user access and security policies.
• Respond to customer alerts, support tickets and provide technical guidance under senior supervision.
• Assist in deploying and managing firewalls, endpoint security, email security platforms and cloud security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support service delivery and improve operational efficiency.
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, networking or technical support.
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies, networking fundamentals and security controls.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability management and identity/access management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong documentation abilities.
