About the role
European University Cyprus is seeking qualified academics for its Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance within the School of Business Administration and Digital Technologies. The positions – Lecturer or Assistant Professor – focus on Accounting and Data Analytics and offer a reduced teaching load that reflects the candidate’s recent research output.
Required profile
- Doctorate (PhD) in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting and Data Analytics, or a related field.
- For the Special Teaching Personnel (STP) role, a professional qualification such as ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a global mindset.
- Student‑oriented, innovative, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Emotional intelligence and the capacity to engage with diverse learners.
- For Lecturer rank: substantial evidence of teaching and research competence.
- For Assistant Professor rank: at least three years of continuous academic and research experience at reputable institutions.
