Senior QA Engineer (Backend)

About the role

Join FxPro’s TradeTech Quality Assurance team as a Senior QA Engineer focused on backend testing. You will help ensure the reliability of fintech trading platforms by building automated tests and validating data across services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for fintech trading platforms.
• Maximize automation coverage to reduce manual testing effort and speed defect detection.
• Execute backend testing to ensure data validation and frontend‑to‑backend consistency.
• Perform end‑to‑end and integration testing across internal and third‑party applications.
• Debug, document, and track issues using bug‑tracking tools while collaborating with developers for rapid resolution.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to align testing with requirements and use cases.
• Share insights and best practices, mentor engineers, and promote a high‑performance QA culture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance test automation.
• Solid knowledge of test theory and its practical application.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Proactive approach and ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.
