QA Engineer (Trader Acquisition)

About the role

As a QA Engineer you will ensure the quality, reliability and stability of client‑facing web and mobile products, embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle and working closely with cross‑functional product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan testing activities during backlog refinement and sprint planning, defining scope, approach, acceptance criteria and effort estimates for manual and automated testing.
• Design, develop and maintain automated UI and end‑to‑end tests for client‑facing web applications using Playwright.
• Build and maintain automated regression suites for mobile applications, collaborating with the mobile engineering stack.
• Execute manual functional, regression and exploratory testing, managing test environments, data, mocks and feature flags.
• Continuously improve the automation framework by creating reusable components, reducing flaky tests and increasing coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor health and provide rapid feedback.
• Validate critical client journeys during production deployments and give go/no‑go recommendations.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude or Codex to generate tests and boost engineering productivity.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years in automation.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong product mindset, critical thinking and ownership.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Playwright or Selenium for web UI automation.
• Python programming for test code.
• Kotlin or other mobile automation tooling.
• Experience with React Native applications.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) and Docker.
• API testing, SQL and database knowledge.
• Use of AI tools (Claude, Codex) to enhance testing workflows.
