Payments Operations Specialist

About the role

The Payments Operations Specialist ensures smooth and secure execution of client payment transactions, focusing on deposits, withdrawals and fraud prevention to enhance the overall client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process client withdrawals, prioritising pending requests (≈50% of workload).
• Handle customer queries on deposits and withdrawals via the case management system.
• Analyse and troubleshoot transaction issues, taking corrective actions during PSP downtime or maintenance.
• Provide detailed information to payment service providers for investigations and act as the main point of contact.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment‑related cases and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor transaction data to detect irregular client activity and prevent fraud or system abuse.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in payment operations, financial services or transaction processing.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Organisational and administrative competence with a proactive, team‑player attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends, and on public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using Google Docs for documentation and reporting.
