Team Lead

About the role

The Team Lead will head a cross‑functional engineering team in Limassol, focusing on operational excellence, team growth and alignment with business goals. This foundational leadership position ensures effective planning, performance management and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Organise daily team operations, workload planning and delivery execution.
• Facilitate agile rituals such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives and grooming sessions.
• Resolve team‑level blockers, escalating issues when necessary and tracking performance metrics.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding processes and set clear goals for team members.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, performance reviews and participate in compensation and promotion discussions.
• Oversee task decomposition, estimation, prioritisation and sprint management.
• Act as the central liaison for product managers, project managers and other team leads, coordinating cross‑team dependencies.
• Monitor and mitigate risks related to team structure, knowledge silos and delivery blockers.
• Collaborate with technical leads to identify technical risks and contribute to workforce planning.
• Track and analyse team and product metrics, propose improvements and pilot new processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering or technical teams.
• Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to motivate, develop and retain team members.
• Proactive risk‑management mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Familiarity with agile ceremonies and cross‑functional collaboration.
