Tax Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Associate to join a well‑established tax, audit and consulting firm in Paphos, Cyprus. The role involves supporting tax compliance, preparing returns and providing advisory assistance under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with tax compliance matters such as provisional taxes and Special Defence Contributions (SDCs).
• Prepare and submit tax computations and returns for companies, employees and self‑employed individuals.
• Support the review of financial statements to identify tax exposures and transfer pricing implications.
• Prepare applications for certificates to the Tax Department and communicate with the Department on behalf of clients.
• Provide basic direct tax planning and advisory support, keeping up to date with legislative changes.
• Assist senior team members in preparing tax rulings and advisory projects.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, written and spoken.
• ADIT qualification is an advantage; experience in Transfer Pricing is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
