System Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Architect to lead end‑to‑end technical ownership of multidisciplinary UAV and autonomous‑system projects within our R&D department. The role will define system requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration strategy and project schedule while acting as the overall technical authority.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the end‑to‑end architecture and technical design of assigned UAV and autonomous systems.
• Translate operational, functional and performance needs into system, subsystem, hardware and software requirements.
• Define software component architectures, service responsibilities, inter‑process interfaces and data flows for onboard and ground‑station functions.
• Allocate functionality across hardware, firmware, embedded software, edge computing and higher‑level applications.
• Coordinate prototype bring‑up, hardware‑software integration and cross‑system troubleshooting with subsystem owners.
• Lead technical design reviews, risk management and verification/validation approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience with technical ownership of multidisciplinary systems integrating electronics, embedded computing and software.
• Demonstrated experience in hardware‑software system design, integration and requirements definition.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Greek is a plus.
