Senior to Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance (Insurance)

About the role

Deloitte's Audit & Assurance team in Nicosia is expanding its Insurance Industry sub‑team and seeks dynamic professionals at Senior to Assistant Manager level. You will support and lead audit and assurance engagements for insurance clients across Cyprus, the Middle East and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of audit engagements for insurance entities and participate in assurance projects onsite and remotely.
• Assist with IFRS 17 advisory projects and help clients improve operating models across Finance, IT and Actuarial functions.
• Participate in secondments with insurance companies, regulators and Deloitte member firms.
• Develop training and knowledge‑transfer programs on IFRS 17 and the insurance sector.
• Prepare reports, summarize findings and present recommendations to clients.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree from a reputable university.
• ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified or partially qualified.
• 1‑4 years of relevant experience in an insurer or professional services firm.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and computer literacy skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
